Paul Schmidt was born in Altenhundem, in the Sauerland region of Germany, on October 31, 1922. Due to the early death of his father, his childhood was marked by difficult times. From an early age he developed great technical skills, which later led to his education in engineering sciences. As an engineer, he first dedicated himself to the development of agricultural machines before founding his company Tracto-Technik. While building this company, he continued his commitment to social and cultural issues, for which he received the Bundesverdienstkreuz, the Order of the Federal Republic of Germany.

It was his social conscience that led him to apply his engineering knowledge to the field of holistic medicine, work that gave rise to the current Bioresonance of Paul Schmidt. In 1982 he founded Rayonex Biomedical GmbH in order to develop his holistic medicine concepts. Until his death on September 2, 1994, Paul Schmidt continued his social commitment. He published children’s books, which he delivered free of charge to nurseries and schools.

The philosophy of Rayonex is based on the premise that for a successful treatment, the underlying causes of diseases need to be addressed, which is exactly what the Rayonex devices are able to do. “The cause-oriented treatment approach is the most sustainable one,” Paul Schmidt concluded in 1976.

Only a few people are capable of changing the world as profoundly as Paul Schmidt did. His ingenious ideas, which ultimately led to the granting of more than 300 commercial patents, testify to his imagination and creativity.
